The Story Behind Emotional Connections Method
My journey to creating the Emotional Connections Method began with profound personal loss. At 16, I lost my father—a life-altering event that sparked my passion for understanding emotions. This heartbreak deepened with the loss of my oldest brother in 2023 and my middle brother in 2025. With my mother as my only living family of origin, I experienced a level of grief that could have left me feeling completely alone.
However, through it all, my husband of 21 years was my anchor. The deep emotional bond we built provided me with the strength to navigate these losses. This experience made me realize the power of emotional connection—the foundation that holds us together during life’s most challenging moments.
This realization led me to develop the Emotional Connections Method, a structured yet compassionate approach to helping others build and strengthen their emotional relationships.
